OTI provides free information service related to materials under its administration.

OTI maintains a database of fatal accidents investigated by road accident investigation teams and accidents indemnified from motor liability insurance. The databases comprise:

  • around 200 fatal accidents and
  • around 90,000 indemnified accidents per year.

Customers of our information service typically include the authorities, professionals from different fields and the media. We supply the required material and assist with the interpretation of the material. The material provided through the information service is typically cross-tabular data where individual accidents cannot be identified.

Materials are also provided for the purposes of statistical or scientific research and the traffic safety work of the authorities. Read more from page Supplying material for research purposes.
