If you are at fault " Observe the provisions of local legislation and find out the time limit for filing an accident report. " Give the injured your own details with details of both your vehicle and insurance policy. " Show your green card to the authority and/or the injured. " Use a uniform, international accident report which you can get from your insurer. " Report the accident to the green card bureau of the country of occurrence and to you own insurer for the purpose of claims handling. If the accident has occurred in an EEA country, you may claim compensation for your own injuries from the insurer that covered your motor vehicle against liability. If you are driving to any of the following countries, you are recommended to get a Green Card.
