Green Card
Green Card serves as proof of valid motor liability
insurance across national borders. The Green card is always issued by
the insurer that has issued the motor liability insurance policy. If you
are planning to drive from Finland to countries other than the Nordic
countries, you are advised to get a Green Card.
The Green Card must always be shown in connection with a road accident
and, where required, to border authorities.
If you are driving to any of the following countries, you are recommended
to get a Green Card.

If you do not have a Green Card or if your card has expired, you are required to buy frontier insurance at the border before entering any of the above countries.
